Je ne suis pas pêcheur, j’utilise ce sondeur d’appoint pour localiser des épaves sur les fonds sableux de la Manche.
Sur un fond plat, il parvient très bien à repérer les irrégularités des épaves.

Accurate depth readings. Fish finding capabilities seemed accurate. However, after using it a couple of times it started locking up and it became necessary to continually reboot it. Sent it back.

Once you figure it out and set it to your fishing environment..this thing is awesome! I used it in my canoe and Intex inflatable--and in both vessels I used sticky Velcro to adhere the finder and its cord to the side of the boat so that I could control depth, etc. I always take a spare set of batteries out with me; however, I found my Finder worked well into the 5th hour of continued use.

The Venterior portable fish finder works great! This unit was purchased for my daughters boyfriend at Christmas. This unit is very accurate, and he has caught many of fish with it already. This little yellow fish finder will display the dept of water, where the fish are located, weeds, sand and rock and seaweed.

Update on the fish finder. Received an email from Venterior - Amazon marketplace letting me know that they were concerned about the fish finder and wanted to make it right. The screen on the new one I received looks perfect. The main thing about this whole deal is that Alva and her company wanted things to be right with their customers. And that means more to me than the fish finder. Will order from them again.

I got this as a Valentine’s Day gift for my boyfriend who’s an avid ice fisher. This is great, works great and he loves it! He’ll drill 300 holes(not really more like 12) and ‘find’ them all and place his tip ups accordingly. Definitely helps to cut out the days we get shut out on a lake, as long as we check the holes we know we’re goin to pull something through the ice!

I don't fish, but I got this to use as a depthsounder for our 10' dinghy aboard our Motoryacht. It's great. I don't use the float with it. I mount it on a wooden rod which goes over the transom of the dinghy. When we're taking the big boat into some location where I want to check depths first, we anchor the big boat, then launch the dinghy and sound out the area for depths prior to bringing the big boat in. It's also useful if the boat inadvertently goes agound. We walk around the decks of this boat, lowering it into the water, and we can see where the deeper water is around the big boat. It works great. Does what it says it does and is very affordable. Can't remark about the fishfinder aspects of it though.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fish finder. I go fishing most of the time in my kayak so I can set this to just float next to me. It doesn't read too well while you are moving (paddling) but that is to be expected and I have NO complaints about that. For learning the depth of some of the lakes around that don't have topographical maps and finding were the fish are in them this is the "bees knees"! Using this is how we were able to find our favorite catfish hole!!

The best part of this is the company that sells it. I bought mine 6 months ago, received an email from venterior checking on how it was working. Well the bottom feature didn't work, it wouldn't pick up plant life or rocks. I told them this and I'm getting a new on shipped free. Definitely a good buy

Perfect fish finder for kayaking. Includes a 25ft cord with sonar to locate fish, but you don't have to use all 25 ft. I use about 6 inches to throw from the side of my kayak and coil the rest. Has a sensitivity setting to detect smaller and larger fish. Also had an audible alarm for detecting fish which can be turned off.

So far, for the price, this does exactly what I bought it for. I have set up a mounting bracket so I can move it from boat to kayak to canoe or take to the bridge or shore. It seems like most of the problems individuals have had are related to mounting on a moving vessel. You have to make sure it is secure and deep enough that it is not effected by waves and disturbed water.

Ordered a few months ago,I haven't been able to use it a lot as its been kinda hot to fish in SWF.The few times I did use it,I had no problems with it.I use mostly for water depth.Easy to use,looking forward to cooler weather so I can try it out more.

Product arrived before projected delivery date. Great customer service for great product at great price. Tool is as sophisticated as I need it to be, and is clear in marking fish. Float works as advertised, and whole thing fits nicely in my tackle box. I advise people to take the batteries out at the end of the season... we all forget sometimes, and you could corrode. Great little fish marker.
